My name is Joseph Citro, and I am committed to serving all Tampa residents with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
For more than twenty years, I have proudly served our community as a volunteer on numerous City of Tampa boards, committees, and commissions. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our city and reinforced my commitment to putting the people of Tampa first.
As your City Council member, I will use my voice to increase transparency in city government and help build a Tampa that is safe, prosperous, and welcoming — while preserving the unique character of our city and making Tampa stronger for future generations.

Keeping Tampa Safe
Public safety is one of my highest priorities.
As a member of Tampa City Council, I will support the Tampa Police Department, Tampa Fire Rescue, and our first responders by ensuring they have the staffing, equipment, technology, and training they need to protect our community effectively.
Every Tampa neighborhood should be a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
Investing in Tampa's Youth
Strong communities begin by investing in the next generation.
I will support youth programs through our Parks and Recreation Department, including sports, mentoring, and after-school activities that provide positive opportunities for young people and help prevent crime before it starts.
